Note: I was hoping to share some sales predictions in this post, but we are still waiting for the NRF Mother’s Day 2025 retail forecast. Stay tuned.
Many of you are looking to transition your store windows from Easter to Mother’s Day soon. Depending on what type of merchandise you sell, you may simply tweak your spring themes to include a sign or some MOM letters — which flip to WOW by the way — but I know that Mother’s Day is a bigger event for others, so I dove deep into the display archives for some inspiration to share. As requested, I’ll share some ideas for store windows and in-store displays.
Interestingly, earlier this year, two very different retailers asked me for display resources for telephone props as they were both planning Call Your Mom store windows. I immediately thought of a display I had seen in the Bridgewater Candles showroom, so I went down a rabbit hole to find a picture…

The “gifts” concept, pictured above, works for many themes and holidays, indicated through color choices or use your business branding colors. I really like the gift tags for added visual interest. A Gift For You sign could be a worthy investment to use over and over in your store window or in-store displays.
Speaking of banners and signs:
It’s not too late to order one for Mother’s Day and it would fit right into your spring display installations for many types of retail stores.
