Last month, I posted a request on social media asking you to fill-in-the-blank: I need ideas for displaying _______ in my store. Several of you requested ideas for displaying jeans/denim. I am including some basic ideas and some that are a bit more creative.
I hope these examples inspire your displays.
It’s not unusual to see jeans and related items displayed on pillars or around columns in department stores. Above is a display at Debenhams and below is a Levi’s display.
Most stores end up folding jeans on shelves or tables, but it is most effective when you can view some fully hung. A rack like the one above is ideal for a small(ish) denim section. Below is a larger installment, but similar in concept.
Table Displays…
Basic folding is effective when monitored closely for neatness and below is an option that incorporates baskets.
Hanging Displays…
Hanging jeans on thick dowel rods is a great way to show off different styles and color ways. Here’s another view with a similar display…
I much prefer the second example. The looped straps provide a more upscale display, in my opinion. I have used this type of fixturing and the jeans are easier to remove with loops.
Keep reading for my favorite examples: one that features scissors, another with leather loops & clips, a fun mannequin and a brilliant way to display multiple colors of the same jean. (As usual, I saved the best for last.) Stay display inspired, friends!
