Hello Kiersten. I am working on a post dedicated to DIY display ideas. Home decor and gift retailers have many options for using Plop Cards. Your postcards (branded on one side) can be thank you notes and it's really fun to have one that is hand signed and just for your local customers. Then have a generic one that which can stand alone and have it reference your loyalty program if you have one. Another idea -- if you gift wrap for free -- is to do a Plop Card made from a picture of your signature wrapping paper or style. The idea is simply to subliminally connect your store when they need a gift. If you sell any specialty food items, recipe cards are fun. Even if you don't sell gourmet foods, a recipe card is still relevant for anyone purchasing something for entertaining (charcuterie board, placemats, taper candles, serving pieces). And because you have access to the broad categories of gift and home, a thank you cards with a bounce back offer for a free gift with purchase on their next visit would be a winner! At market, (or ask your reps for special deals or closeouts) look for a high margin item that you can give away when the customer returns next time, You can set parameters like Free Gift with a $?? purchase in June or put an expiration date on it. I've seen these gift-with-purchase items at home and gift stores: greeting card pack of two votive candles, cute wine bottle corker, roll of gift wrap, small scarf, dish towel, coasters, ornament or even a small canvas bag with your store name and logo on it. I hope that helps. ~Becky Tyre, Retail Details

Such a great idea, I'd love to know what you might include for an antique store! And would you have multiple cards for different purchases or circumstances?

Hello Willow! For an antique store, I would have a card that says something like "Thanks for shopping at _______! Tag us on social media if you post a picture of your treasure in its new home." Then put your social media @ handle(s), and/or your FB and IG links and possibly a QR code directing to the same. You can also print a bounce back card to encourage a return visit. There is a post about bounce backs in the archives. I hope this answers your question. Let me know what you decide to use. ~Becky, Retail Details
